Key questions for improving family partnership quality include (1) what accounts for the gap between the desire of programs to partner with families and actual practices with families?; (2) what kinds of supports do professionals need in order to effectively partner with families?; and (3) what factors promote or impede the implementation of family support and engagement strategies?
